As COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on us and our communities, the added stress of being misgendered can sting harder for trans and gender non-conforming people.
As a nonbinary person, I personally dislike being referred to with most gendered terms. For some of us, we’re getting misgendered in new ways and/or more often as a result of the mask covering our faces.
Just like the #HopefulGender cards, I couldn’t just make these for myself when I know others would want them, so I invested in our community and purchased these in bulk.
Masks are $0-15 sliding scale.

22/100 masks were given out for free. 4/100 were discounted. 74/100 were purchased. Thank you to everyone who donated to help make this accessible to more people.
UPDATE
As of September 2020, only 12 people filled out the interest form for a version that says "sir" or some other word besides "ma'am." Of those 12, 8 asked for “please don’t call me sir” + 3 asked for “please don’t call me ma’am or sir” + 1 asked for “not a lady.” The company I order from has a minimum of 50.
